What config are you using ? I tried it in every possible situation I could picture, but it was working everywhere, for me, at least

Custom Stylish script. Been using it for a looooooooooong time. I've posted pictures of it before, too. I can't seem to go back to the main page without using the address bar since the top banner is still hidden behind the warning screen, tho :/
