Loading...I changed several things thanks to your feedback, guys, and thanks to your help too on more than one occasion 
Not listing everything, but at least:
– Less blinding font color, now it’s a subtle grey
– The tags are back, they’re now on top of the posts, below the categories.
– The navigation drop down list at the bottom of the home page is back
– The Home hyperlink is back in place
– The post rating stars are back in place (and if you find why their text isn’t well aligned with the stars, I beg you, enlighten me)
– Bolded texts looked as if they weren’t bolded, they show in bold again
– Super old posts with tables: now readable again!
– Search results are displaying latest results first again, and not just the first occurences of the keyword in the title
– Search results now show the images and summary of the posts, and they also have the Navi dropdown link to choose which list of pages you want
Regarding all my changes, one remark: it may be imperfect, but please spare me, it works, so that will do in the short term ^^
Now, you may wonder WHY I changed to a new theme ?
– Google hated to death the old theme, I received several notifications that my site was not mobile-friendly, with a sharp Google visitors traffic drop at the same moment. I found that even terms like the “hentaiburger” that I sort of “invented” stopped showing Hentairules in the results of google searches for that term. I hope things will get better with a Moloch– Google-compliant theme
– For me, the old theme was a nightmare to manage. Everything was hard-coded, and I was afraid to break everything with the slightest modification. It wasn’t even widgets-compatible, so I couldn’t do much without hard-coding to make it worse.
I know there are still lots of things to change, I would like to fix the Search that returns crappy-looking results, the wordpress excerpt instead of simply the top of the post, for instance.
But, here’s the thing… I’M LEAVING ON HOLIDAYS!

people always likes the old one when someone change to new..that happens in all world
they need have time to accepter all "New" stuff.
but this time with the background fading to black as you go down makes it seem as if most of the page is empty
and since most of the image is behind the posts it almost as if it's not even there, the old one made it more colourful
I don't know I also liked it better
oh, and I would at least center the hentairules header/thumbnail (whatever that white "poster" with two girls is called) like it used to be
and it would be nice if the background of the posts (not of the site) could go back to being semi-transparent as it was before

when i first loaded the new site i was a bit “whoa”, but it’s neater and i like the articles widening to fit screen.
only objection i have thus far is about the top category bar – 1) it’s 1 item too large to fit on a single line (i use 1650×1080 resolution) and 2) i’m not really chuffed seeing “incest” as one of the first things you see on the sites main menu. granted that’s a valid tag for some shares but does it really belong front & center ?
As I mentioned, it's cherrypicking and it troubled me to no end, choosing to put everything or nothing in there T___t
This was a nice surprise, and you say it's mobile friendly too? Sweet, although I don't usually use my phone for NSFW content, bit too dangerous when on a crowded bus or train. Anyways, things are looking quite good, very sleek.
Although there is one thing I'd like suggest, and that's to change the font of the post title? On my laptop, I kind of had to squint to read it, maybe because the font for everything else was different. It's just something minor, maybe I'll just get used to it over time.
But congrats on working out something new! I hope you continue this website forever! (^w^)

"the search function just went crap on me… I have a favorite pointing to search results with "anal" to checke every new posts with the word every now and then, and the sorting was always relevant and organized by date. now it is just random… if at least it shows results by date it would be all perfect again.
Nah, it is not random. By default, wordpress searches first for the keyword in the titles, it's been like this for almost a year. I had to tune my previous theme to force the old behaviour, I'll try to find how I did that before, I don't remember ^^

Ah, nice. But you're changing something affecting the whole site. Now, we'd need to know how to affect only the part we like… At least, we know it IS doable

Hmm, not working like that. If you look carefully, the stars look OK, it's the text that is bad.
I tried various combos, without success:

But none of these worked.
The CSS must target the img tag very specifically for the vertical-align: middle; to work. Nothing else except margin/padding hacks will work.
I think there might be some weird caching trickery going on if

vertical-align: middle; }
}
does not seem to work for you. Even with IE's developer tool adding this works. You might try making the change, pushing to live, then doing a hard refresh (not F5).
I went and tried changing the postrating's own css file (placing it in the theme's own folder makes changing permanent, so experiencing with it was mostly OK, if it worked I could just duplicate the file).
And the result is disappointing.

I checked this and it looks good in chrome.
By the way you can experiment with this live with chrome (and I'm quite sure you can do it even in firefox). Left click on the block you want to change(the stars), choose inspect element, then in the dev tools you can live edit the css, to see what it would change.
By "telling" an image you want it aligned vertically to the middle, you are saying you want its center aligned to the center of the text block next to it. (This can still be screwed up if that text has some crazy line height, that makes it a lot bigger in the layout calculations than it visually is.)
I think the easiest solution would be
.post-ratings{
line-heigth: 1;
}
Maybe also applying some margin-/padding-bottom to get some space to the next line.
I'd also suggest a padding on the sections and asides etc for mobile views to prevent the texts from sticking to the border.
For mobile first that would be:

section, aside{
padding: 0;
}
}
I did that, in Developer tools.
It still didn't change shit, neither in FF or Chrome.

Oh, a new theme! I thought I got lost on the internet… again.
Looking really good, but maybe if the theme was changed by users instead one permanently and maybe another background with more lighter background color..
I looked at theme switcher plugins, to allow visitors to change to another theme on their whim, but sadly, that won't work. It would have only worked if there were no caching on the server side (there is) and on the blog engine side (there is too).
I still gave it a go, and, indeed, at best it changed the theme for one page or two before reverting back to the default new theme.

Okaaay. Not visiting for 3 days and I missed a restyle and a feedback thread. New design is nice, a bit uncomfortable(because new), but nice.
IMO the texts are a tad too big, either the font is bigger or the interline spacing is.
Ah, well, about it, there's no size that will be universally pleasing, but I noticed an overall fashion/trend of using now larger fonts than before.
Frankly, it suits me too, I couldn't read hentairules.net with a 100% zoom in the past, I had to zoom the site to 130%, lest I wanted to squint like mad and uncomfortably get much closer to my monitor. Now, it's a bit better, I think :o
So the rating stars are a little wacky for me. They fill the whole column and are the size of a softball. Wondering if it's just me..

it´s still new so i won´t give feedback now because i got customated to the old one, so maybe after a week or so i can be neutral enough for that ^^
what i don´t like is the red colour of the "continue reading" button on the front page, it´s too hard on the eyes in my opinion. Maybe one or two shades darker would be more pleasing.
And at least for me the button is sometimes alligned to the left and sometimes in the middle?

Always busy or AFK. Always lurkin'. Watchin'. Eyes ever vigilant..For fap material. Anyway, the site change…To me, it's good change/update. The search function is actually working now in terms of yielding results in chronological order, and seems more accurate to what's searched for(sometimes, it didn't yield what was searched, even though it should. Might still do it, but so far, it's working way better). Text is vastly easier to read now, the BG is a nice change from the MOAR DOTS MOAR DOTS K SOTP DOTS. The only thing that's a GLARING eyesore, at least from what I'm seeing, is the banner and the top menu, the [Random Identify Hentai Glossary], aren't centered. There's also the menu under the banner that seems jutted and out of place with Uncensored Hentai. This is just a critic's annoying little nitpicking. Other than that, this is easy to fap to. I'm gonna' stick my dick into my C drive TONIGHT.

I like the new layout Oliver. You certainly are correct that it's easier on the eyes. The UI is simple and easy to navigate.
I can't speak to the background work that you have to complete, but – based on your comments – this is a huge boon for you. If it's something you find to be really helpful, then I'm all for it. Anything that ensures you enjoy continuing in the fantastic work you're already doing while minimizing the frustration groans that accompany the programming you need to complete, is fantastic in my opinion.

Looks great. I was away for almost a week, log back on and… WOW!
Love the theme.
The colors are good, the slightly muted text – subtle, but I can see how it's a step up from ffffff white.
The font is good as is. Took a quick look through the fonts on hand (I am a bit of a font nerd, I admit), and saw a few I liked, but they'd just be a distraction from the main attraction – all the glorious hentai. (BTW, got a link / website where I can find a few of those nifty fonts? For my own usage)
Displays a little bit better on (Windows) PC than on Android tablet – the ads, twitter plugin and whatnot are all clustered on the bottom of the page on tablet, whereas on PC they're neatly arranged on the right, just like old theme. Used Google Chrome browser for both devices, BTW. Looks good on both, but slightly better on PC, IMHO. And the banner would look better, bigger, to fill the space.
LOVE the categories menu. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Well, maybe more like LUST with some fondness thrown in. Good feature. In the improving on near-perfection, a genre / subgenre menu would be cool. Time consuming as hell, but cool. (OK, I admit, I just want to be able to find all the futanari hentai easier.)
All in all, everything looks great. You truly are a paragon of the hentai community.

Once I moved past the shell shock, I'm quite liking the new theme too. The blue background and grey text is much easier on the eyes. Shun the naysayers..you did good.
I don't know if you'll see this but I find it much harder to use the search function now that you've applied the new theme. When I hover over the search icon and try to move my mouse to the search bar that appears, it'll disappear unless I'm quick.
