Ready to regret reading me ? - - - - What is happening to the left arm of the man having sex with her, on that pic ?

I haven’t played The Witcher 3 yet. I have a huge backlog of other games I want to play, and The Witcher 3 isn’t on top of the list (after playing good RPGs like Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect 1-2-3, I feel like changing from RPGs and Shoot’em ups, I might try the Xcom 1 & 2 games maybe. Also, I don’t have as much time to play as I wanted, sob.)
So, sorry, but I have no clue who is this Triss Merigold, I only knew her name thanks to the video’s filename and a Google search ^^

Doesn’t matter, though. We see a hot redhead having good uncensored 3D sex, and that’s that, if you feel like it, it’s available =)

If you think that Dragon Age Inquisition was a good rpg, your going to get your mind blow by the witcher 3

not downloading or watching anyway, the animations are super stiff and the recording sound quality is pretty bad

On a non-porn-related note: If you do decide to play TW3 – which you probably should – definitely read the books beforehand, they are amazing, though I’m not sure how good the French translation is or if there indeed it sone. The German translation is probably the best I’ve ever read. The English one is….a mixed bag because the switched translators several times. :\

Anyway, amazing books and they explain a lot of what’s going on in the games and why, stuff that totally goes over your head if you don’t know.

All the games, starting with the first, are set after the events of the books, so it’s Books -> Witcher 1 – Witcher 2 – Witcher 3, chronologically.

The first two games might not have had the hype, but they’re very good RPGs nonetheless. Cumbersome where game mechanics are concerned but not definitely unplayable. Story and Characters are great. Worldbuilding too.

While I would recommend reading the books before playing any of the games, it’s really the most important for TW3, as it introduced a much bigger world and a lot of prominent characters from the books, last but not least Ciri. :)

According to the author’s wikipedia page the books have all been translated and published in French by a publisher named Milady, if I interpet this correctly: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrzej_Sapkowski#La_Saga_du_Sorceleur

Added information: of the short stories, only “L’Épée de la providence” and “Le Dernier Vœu” are relevant, all the others are either contained within the other books or not really contain anything important. Both have been picked up by Bragelonne I think?

Haven’t read the new novel “La Saison des orages” yet, apparently a side story. It’s already on my shelf though and I plan to read though it before starting my own series playthough from the beginning with some new knowledge. Haven’t even played TW3 myself, but did watch a friend and he kept asking about different charcters, confused. :P

Its not necessary to read the books to get what is going on. The games are mostly self contained and the story is easy to understand, even without that background. A lot of it is explained in the games themselves.

If you are going to play the first two then all the better. And the novels are pretty good themselves i think. I did read some short stories from them … one or two i think. (back then the novels were not translated to english)
The setting is generally speaking a very modern take on fantasy and its tropes. Lots of smart subversive angles and edges all around. But its never subversive just to be subversive. Its all good stuff.

As for ass defect, i dont consider second or the third directly related since there was so much of retconing they might as well be different games just loosely connected to the first or each other.
But lets not argue about it, too much had been said about all of that already.

Well a lot is explained in the games……but aside from a few sparse references the backgrounds and relationships between the characters are mostly left untouched. There’s a difference between knowing what’s going on in general and knowing why each separate character acts the way they do in a given situation, makes it a lot more tense and interesting I think.

Mind you I played the games before I even know of the books and enjoyed them immensely, but it can be enhanced MASSIVELY by reading them.

As for the books, Fiper describes them very well. I’d add that there’s a lot of weird takes on established fairy tales, especially early on in the series. Probably still enjoyable if you don’t know them but got some hard laughs out of me. :D

I would add its a fantasy for grownups. And smartly written as i said, which does translate to games a lot. Far, far better then that juvenile superficial nonsense bioware and bethesda are doing.

I would guess reading the novels would be a good way to get introduced to all of it while he takes a break from “RPGs” .
Its true, relations between some important characters are only glossed over but in first two games those characters dont appear and thats not a direct theme of those games. Unlike the third game.

also, i just figured out my nickname is accidentally one letter away from Faper.

Still missing a second “p” though. ;)

It is very adult indeed, and not in the “violence and sex lol, adult k?” way. Characters are just very believable in how they act and react to everyting. People find pleasure in the small things when they can, because it all tends to turn to shit often and fast. Even makes some parts hard to read through, Ciri especially since she is often so very utterly alone, while Geralt on the other hand always has some really lovable characters around him, however much he tries to isolate himself.

Pretty much the only thing nobody ever understood was how Geralt fell in love with Yen, but one could argue that this is often the case in real life as well, no? :P
Personally I’m shipping Triss though and I’m shipping her hard. (also a sucker for vanilla ^^)

Oh and also lots of different small PoVs which add a lot to the world and charm of the books. :)

I was thinking of adding the same kind of sharp constructive criticism of Olivers choices… but, sometimes things just cant be helped. Kids… someone should make them illegal.

Anyway, although reading the books may be a nice thing to do before playing the games, it is not necessary by any means. I use to like the first game the most and hated the second for consolized gameplay and a few other things, but i have to admit that the third went beyond both in terms of general quality. And even if its a very action oriented game with semi open world setting that clashes with RPGness as that usually does, it is still by far the best such games available. Much better then anything bioware or bethesda ever produced.
Its a very good game, despite some flaws.

A few mods can help a lot with removing some sharp edges out of it, like for example a mod that removes the super annoying fish eye – zoom in effect someone thought was a good idea to force onto players each time Geralt uses his “Witcher senses” to find loot or tracks – which you do millions of times, or in other words constantly, during the game.

I dont think playing first two games is necessary either, really. But, thats down to personal choices and stamina.

Filthy casuals… what horrible creatures… each of you deserves an arrow to the knee… :)
No need to rush through. i play slowly too. – Because im OLD!. lol
If you have the will and stamina to eventually play all games and even read the novels, then all the better for you.
I can certainly see why you would take a long rest from playing “RPGs” after playing ass defect :P ha!

I would suggest playing Divinity: Original Sin once you get back. Especially since it can be played in co-op which is great fun, especially if you have a girl to play with… ahem, i mean the game! Teach you something about true RPGs it will.
