Because of their similar conditions where appearances contradict their inner selves, they were attracted for each other, started going out, and became lovers. Their attraction isn’t just physical, they deeply understand, accept and love each other… That was heart-warming 
The drawings do this great story justice. Kuroiwa Menou understands how anatomy works, every little detail is finely chiseled in both the girl’s and boy’s bodies, we get a quality, artistic feeling. Sweet, really =)
Fair warning, though, there’s the abominable blur-mosaics censorship we all despise T__T

IMHO, that move alone is worthy of Oliver’s Hentai Seal Of Approval – and the rest of the story was damn cute, too.
