Sad news
For those of you who enjoy reading Berserk…
Well, here’s what is present in the last page of the newly released chapter.
It will be a loooooong wait, at last, Caska, and, argh, why now!!
And if you had never read Berserk so far, it’s not too late.
You can read it, for instance, on MangaTraders. (They are having server issues tonight apparently, but usually they’re fast.)
Also, if you read Berserk many years ago, check it out again, new scans for the earlier volumes have appeared at some point in time, it really makes the beginning look better, and scenes like the Gutts-Griffith confrontation in the snow (here) are now incredibly beautiful.
I’m not even surprised… What will is if Muira manages to finish his series altogether…
We just have to hope for Miura to live long enough.
And us too
The publisher did say they would be publishing his series “irregularly” from when he returned from his hiatus (from when he was busy being executive producer of the anime) but I was hoping for more than 4 chapters before he decided to hibernate again.
Shindol has nice caska fanatic on his latest work
Care for a link, Taesu? ShindoL doing Caska, that can be either awesome, or gruesome
Probably this, but its just one page, and i don’t see why people says it’s like Berserk author’s style, its just a bit close: http://g.e-hentai.org/s/4f936797df/966217-2
About Berserk doujinshis, there are better things, like these two. Translated by TeamVanilla:

Its very advanced in the story, if you want to avoid SPOILERS.
Well, bad news for us, good for the author. The hiatus is because he is getting married. But as workalholics as the japanese are, so big of an hiatus seems strange. Even outside there is a bit big.
Getting married justifies four months of break?
That’s paternity leave, that O_o
So then shotgun weddng.
And zero fucks were given. Tried to read it but the characters were so uninteresting.
Did you try long enough? It gets really good…
That said, if it’s not to your taste, then there’s no discussing it. To each his own
Not surprised one bit, Miura has lost interest in this for a long time now
I thought this hiatus was caused by the new Idolmaster game.
Uhsh, don’t invoke the ghost of Yoshihiro Togashi.
I’m not even surprised…
I kinda feel like he’s been milking it for 30 years rather than trying to tell a story that he already had planned out (Serial vs Ova kinda). I don’t mean so much that quality has suffered (though it does in the vast majority of serial manga/anime after a while), just that there’s a good chance he may never finish it – for one reason or another.
Kinda goes with the territory. Either big companies pull the plug – or the artists lose interest, become disabled, or even die.
I’d just like to see a decent ending. I really hate how many amazing projects end up incomplete.
meant “Company big wigs” rather than “big companies” – but whatever. It works either way. Publishers etc.
