Wow… That manga had all the markings of a dramatic basis, ending in corruption, mutual destruction, you name it. Even graphically, the quantity of blacks, the impact of the images, it was very negatively foreboding. And you know what, screw all those negative omens, the story, although starting from a dark dramatic standpoint, ended beautifully and well, fuck YEAH! 
The canvas: a soldier returns from war to find the woman he loves psychologically scarred by the horrors she witnessed as a war nurse, addicted to narcotics and – naturally – to physical rapture. He will be brave, enduring, dedicated, and loving.
Add to this very good drawings, rich in details and quality, and it’s an EXCELLENT share, I think. I hope you may also enjoy it

This is one of my favorite type of stories, redemption. We all need it sometimes & I like seeing ero-manga like this that is as good for the story as the sexual content.
Author is an optimist. Like you said, had the makings of one of those everything is lost stories, even set on the backdrop of World War 1, yet we see people pulled from the brink.
Author must have the ideology that humanity in the end is worth saving.

Guy is/was in the heat of WWI, comes back okay. Girl sees the results of war, breaks down and gets drug addiction… “Sexual Healing” …ahem, Mitigation – Wars End surprises us with god tier product that has high level contents sex and plot done well (considering is one chapter) that grips the usual reader… I couldn’t be more pleased than I’m now.
