Honest warning, there is a sick moral tone in that doujinshi. We follow Jeanne, one of the girls from the Granblue game, she underwent a severe moral trauma early on (everyone but her died), and during the course of the present share, she seeks solace in intense sex. However, this time, sex doesn’t cure her, it merely delays her crumbling. As for the conclusion, well… Ouch.
I couldn’t fully enjoy the quality drawings because of this toxic atmosphere. I’ll simply wish you guys have built up a better tolerance than the pussy I still am sometimes

I’m curious: Do you think that from page 10 onward could possibly be a dream sequence?
Considering the fact that the MC is the one who has the nightmare in page 9, though we had no insight as to what that may have been, it’s possible that he was dreaming of what happened in the rest of the manga with the end of the manga being where he woke up. I’m probably making too much out of nothing, but it’d at least be an interesting twist besides.
Even though I have the game, I don’t have any of her versions, so I don’t know jack about the backstory, but knowing from the 4-koma she’s a strong character, it’s probably the usual taking it way out of context, I just hope at least it ain’t 100% BS and that the dude at least tried to keep some of it relevant.

There is no mention of her hometown getting destroyed. She tried to help a small village, but the ensuing battle claimed many lives. It seems this is what tainted her heart.
Djeanne is the version of her that gave in to the despair and embraced “whatever the hell the ominous voice told her to do.” Regular Jeanne is more or less the same but fought back instead.
