Despite the niichans all around, I'll mention this is not wincest.

At first I couldn’t believe those figures, in the sixties the proportion of arranged marriages in Japan was of 70%, was of around 30% in 1990, and is still slightly below 10% nowadays. Shit, those figures are HUGE. Even with less than 10% nowadays, it’s no surprise that, for old people, it’s still perceived as “the” way to marry

And now that I’ve bored you all to death with information you either already knew or didn’t care about, I can mention this manga is about a girl literally shipped as an arranged bride, but fortunately the falling in love is mutual and there was a good reason to send her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sorry for the weird presentation, it’s my own way of enjoying preparing hentai shares, this way it stays a pleasure and never a chore ^_^
Thanks to Desudesu for this release!

By the same artist, I also share Ero-life (217 pictures), Tsuruno-san Wa Tonikaku On O Kaeshitai, Sono Namae De Yobanaide chapter 1, Yumeyura Morning, Oz Wa Mahoutsukai and Tayun Purun Monyun chapters 1-3.

Apparently the divorce rate in Japan is that 1 in 3 marriages end in divorce, which is four times the rate in the 1950s and double the rate in the 1970s. Makes you stop and think, no?

Eh. Not really. Lack of divorce doesn’t equal healthy marriage, it more likely just means strong social pressure against divorce – likely the same kind of social pressure that made people go along so much with arranged marriages in the first place.

Apparently the Japanese divorce rate is so low because the marriage rate is so low! As for Warun, I’m aware that different societies have different expectations, that’s why I compared the Japanese to themselves.

I didn’t say anything about different societies? Just that the high pressure for marriage means “not getting divorced” wouldn’t actually be a good metric for judging the health of arranged marriages. It just as readily could mean a lot of people were tolerating awful circumstances because they were more afraid of the hell they’d get from everyone else (especially family who pushed them into it) for abandoning their marriage.

Actually in certain parts of the world, they are still fairly common. Years ago they were fairly common in the part of the world my family comes from, Sicily . . .

It’s probably better to say ‘changing’. When you say that society is evolving you’re implying that it is improving. I don’t know that we have the data to judge what the impact on society has been at this point and changes like that tend to take decades if not centuries to show their full impact due to lifespans.

Wonderful thing!
Oh, wow! Layer intrigue aunts at age!
Put the bride first. Then feed the groom (no, already the husband) pathetic the story of the girl’s marriage to a 50-year-old uncle …
So the aunt and grandmother confessed that they were making the guy, but-how did they do it? First, you got to pity the poor thing, then he forgave them.
And the fact that the girl really wanted to marry him, the scare
This is a marriage for a 50-year-old adult man, a guy who didn’t know.
Drawing is good!
Good manga!

When a protagonist’s mother decides “I Want Grandkids”, there’s nothing short of ‘six feet of earth’ that will stop her from bringing about a hook-up. And teaming up with a ‘demon oba-san’ only seals the deal that much faster.
