Damn, what a sight to behold!

Three years ago, I shared the first volume of this God Eater parody series, Again #1 Stay With Me Till Dawn, but I didn’t understand much about the story. Today, three more volumes are out in total, and I’ve read two wikis plus a few other pages found through web searches, and
I went from “I don’t understand jack shit about God Eater” to “I’ve got the general picture but how the hell does this particular doujinshi series relate to it”. I guess it’s a progress?

Ah well, anyway, here we are, with a repack of the four volumes. I included the volume 1 that I already shared as well, it’s simpler to make it a full (…for now! The story is still ongoing) repack.

The contents, are quite the rollercoaster.
Story-wise, You have a combination of vanilla, sex with love and strong mutual emotions, rape, despair, hope, prospects about the future alternatively dramatic or brimming with hope.
It’s all about Alisa Amiella’s past and present. In the volumes 2 and 3, we watch her past as a sex doll, she was hypnotized and mindbroken into being a cum dump in the hands of nasty evil men. In the volumes 1 and 4 we have flashbacks from a more recent past, as Alisa has vanilla sex, full of mutual love, with her leader Lindow Amamiya, who accepts her and grants her a form of moral salvation. Above it all is a shadow of more drama, as Lindow is (airquotes: wikipedia says it’s all BS) “supposed” to be dead and the evil masterchief makes a comeback. But it’s all very confusing, I found, the way it’s written.
Even art-wise, it’s also a rollercoaster, there are amazing ups, finely refined art (the vanilla chapters) and/or very litle thin black bar censorship (the volume 4), and downs, poorer art (the rape parts) and/or disgusting blur mosaics censorship (the volumes 1-3). All in all, I think it’s still worth readings, so: thanks a lot to N04h and Doujin-Moe!! :)

The titles of those four works I share are:
Again #1 Stay With Me Till Dawn
Again #2 Flashback Memories
Again #3 All That Heaven Allows
Again #4 Blue Tear In My Hands

By the same artist, I also share Dainiji Lindow Obikiyose Daisakusen.

And now, the download & gallery links :)

Or you can also use the Alternative:
Zip Mirror #1 – or – Zip Mirror #2

Smaller version incoming!
As of usual when ☑ the images are in high enough resolution and ☑ the archive is quite big for its number of pictures, and ☑ it offers a significant gain, and ☑ I have enough time to do it, if it may help, I’m offering you a smaller version, in which I resized the images to lower-standard 1600 px resolution. Originally, the image sizes were, vertically, of 3000 px, 2000 px, 1% variations around 3000 px, and again 1% around 3000 px ^^
The zip shrank from 364 MB to 73 MB.
Personally, I prefer it for reading, and it takes less disk space.

Meh, but did get me wondering, is God Eater itself any good?

It’s a mission-based, post-apocalypse, Monster Hunter-ish sort of game. Basically strange omnivorous monsters called Aragami have appeared and you’re one of a bunch of volunteers modified to fight them from the last bastions of human society on Earth. (This one located in Japan, of course.) You get giant weapons you can modify and switch between, both ranged and melee, and most missions involve going to some arena map to fight a big boss monster (or three) and sometimes a bunch of weaker monsters for parts, mostly to build or improve your weapons. There’s up-to-4-player co-op and fairly competent NPC party members, and you can trade “cards” of your characters when online so you can use a friend’s character as a NPC in your party when offline. Any given mission is usually pretty quick, unless you come woefully unprepared to dish out enough damage against a beefy or fast Aragami.

The story is not great but still competent, at least for the first game – I played on PSP, and while I have the PC version of the remakes of 1 and 2 (also on PS4 and Vita), I haven’t gotten much into them yet except to say they control so much better on a real gamepad. There’s a crap-ton of gear with different effects and NPCs fill strong niches, so your build and party are highly customizable (and you can tweak NPC skills in the remakes). I don’t blame anyone for finding the games repetitive because they are, but the gameplay loop hooked me pretty well and I keep meaning to get back to them.

So someone made a survival horror game with pokemon, interesting.

Don’t have time for games anymore, thought it might be a manga or anime.

Thanks for the info.

There are a bunch of manga and an anime series, I just completely forgot them. There’s also a short prequel animation to the first game, about 10 minutes or so, you can probably find on Youtube easily enough. (The girl in this won’t be anywhere to be seen in the short prequel, though, she doesn’t appear until several missions into the first game.) Batoto should have most of what manga are translated to English, though you’ll have to rush because that site is closing down soon (with hopes that someone else might pick up where it left off).

So since it’s obviously going to turn into some ntr mindbreaking stuff I should stay the hell away from it .

Just a quick clarification of some summary errors: No, the leader is NOT Lindow Amamiya. While he was previously squad leader, the leader in this is actually the player character (Yuu Kannagi is the “default” name). Also, this doujinshi series can be considered a sequel to the other God Eater doujinshi by the artist.
