Heisei Saigo No Omoide (“A Memory Of The Last Day Of The Heisei Era”) [English], by Karma Tatsurou

The manga takes place at the end of the heisei era, just before the Reiwa era begins, as with the abdication of Akihito a new emperor takes his succession, Naruhito.

This share’s got a gentle WTF atmosphere, but maybe “WTF” isn’t the exact idea. It’s more along the lines of “today’s a special day, nothing really matters, the slate is wiped clean this night as the current era ends, so we might as well do whatever we fantasize about”.
And in the precise case, this “whatever we fantasize about” includes a highschool girl with the middle-aged man she secretly likes. At first I was misled by the Japanese speech, but I don’t think this is her uncle, simply an older person with whom she’s on good speaking terms.

The drawings are pretty good, better than most Karma Tatsurou’s works in my opinion, the censorship is bearable on most panels as a welcome bonus.
