At first I thought that was a case of a girl with a split personality, two different personas cohabiting under her skull… But apparently it’s more complicated than that, it’s a case of two sisters whose identity is randomly swapping from a body to the other. Yeah, I don’t know shit about Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume o Minai ^^
And just as it happens, this share’s female heroine, Toyohama Nodoka, swaps into her sister’s body just as she’s about to have sex with the boy they both (I guessed right… right?) like.

The occasional rant about excessive file sizes: I downloaded it myself as a HUGE 280 MB archive, in which the images were between 6040 and 6100 px high. So far, only 2 persons told me they had monitors with that kind of crazy picture height. For everyone else, I deem it as needlessly big. I allowed myself to shrink the images to 3000 px before sharing, this is very high resolution already. And with that, the archive’s size fell to 37 MB, 243 MB smaller

Needed more bunny girl than just the first episode. Still, interesting to see the body swap in this one.
In the anime the sisters don’t swap bodies, they both shape-changed into each other’s form. But top-notch art and sex should never be limited by the medium! If swapping makes for hotter sex, hell, who says they couldn’t swap afterwards? Or this might be the events in an alternate universe. Certainly stranger things happened during the series!

seishun buta is an interesting anime, it’s about paradoxes, a bit like the twilight zone, a bit like haruhi suzumiya.
things like someone is ignored by the crowd and ends up disappearing, the same day repeated over and over till a situation is resolved, body swapping (or shape change), etc.
nothing original, but still a good watch.
Some people compare it to Bakemonogatari, though to be honest I tried watching that and didn’t feel invested after 3 episodes, unlike Seishun Buta Yarou where I got too engrossed and had to stop myself from searching for spoilers.
I loved this show to death but I have to admit it was really freakin’ slow. But to be fair, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi was insanely slow paced as well. “Today’s episode features: playing a video game! Tomorrow, we play baseball! Yay!”
I was halfway tempted to read this, but then I’d have to read the series it’s parodying, and I’ve already got enough on my plate (backlog).
Oliver, I’m noticing that you have two postings tagged “Seishun Buta YarÅ” and two postings tagged “Aobuta”. It’s the same series, they all go together. The 1st tag is Japanese, the 2nd is the English fan shortcut. The groups really should be merged.
