Case in point, you’ve reached an F5 moment, there’s no resisting anymore, it’s time to quicksave and finally be free, free!!

I stopped playing Fate / Grand Order (the servant drop rate drove me mad, basically. I reached with Camelot the point you can’t continue with three 4-star servants, Hokusai as the only 5-star, and the rest 3-stars… No matter how many free rolls I got in four months, save Marie Antoinette, Gil Caster and Assassin of Nightless City, the servants I received were at best 3-stars, so: fuck it, goodbye), but I still got good visual memories of it, and there’s this thing I wanted to mention: the girl strongly reminded me of of Ishtar :3

You’ve reminded me of playing Ultima 3 back when I was a kid, using diskettes. It was standard practice then to leave the Save disk out of the drive so that if you screwed up during the game, it couldn’t write your death onto the disk. In particular, the dreaded whirlpool couldn’t destroy your ship and kill your characters. Ha ha, screw you, game designers! But you quickly hit a wall in the game, you couldn’t improve your stats and get the full range of spells, plus your characters never got stronger. Eventually you figured out that it was because the whirlpool doesn’t kill you, it takes you to the next stage. But that couldn’t happen because YOU LEFT THE DISK OUT OF THE DRIVE! I don’t know if it was intentional, but it was a pretty funny way to punish players who were gaming the save.
Just you wait, the Quicksave will screw you up eventually!

Er…yes you can.
There have been accounts of people beating most of part 1 of the story using only 1 and 2-star servants.
HonakoGreen is a famous player on YT that has been shown using Cu Chulain, a 3-star, to beat most of the hardest fights in the game.
In Camelot, Euryale, a mere 3-star, can trivialize some of the harder fights, namely Gawain and arguably Lancelot and Leonidas, a 2-star, has been shown to solo Tristan. And Mash reaches her full potential within the chapter to be one of the most useful support.
