The title gave me a fright, but it’s actually a very good release we’ve got here, scenario-driven, with promise for revelations, plot twists and character progression. Mind you, it’s just a volume 1, so it’s not like we’ve got everything already.
And now, the usual dilemma for me, how much should I reveal of the plot after I’ve praised it. Too little and you may be wrongly encouraged to read something you may not like (the worst thing in my eyes, contrary to the very reason I have and love my hentai blog); too much and you’d lost a lot of pleasure reading and discovering things. Argh.
Allright. I’ll say we’re in an heroic fantasy world, following a small party made of apparently inept members, but – that much is obvious, right? – they have hidden skills, and not just in bed. Namely: the male MC, an impressively strong man despite his shota appearance; a petite girl who seems she doesn’t fear anything (my guess was: she must be OP), and a beautiful, healthy, busty, braided female party leader with a cheeky smile, rough manners but a good nature below the ragged surface.

In pure hentai terms, it’s good although a bit creepy at times, the mangaka’s skill shone all through every sex scene, hats off. However, sorry for the bad news, there’s huge whiteout censorship.

That was actually a rather pleasant read; so much so that, if the scanlator one day does Volume 2, I’d jump at the chance to read it.
To the scanlator(s):
I’m sure there’s a story there somewhere, but I can’t get over my wall of apathy to see it.

Look, I really don’t want to look like I’m attacking you (on the internet, with just words displayed on a monitor, it’s pretty easy to misunderstand each other’s intentions), but I must ask, shouldn’t you go and visit a shrink?
Being depressed 24/7 is no good for you, man, you deserve better.
And from a physiology perspective (I just buttfucked English, didn’t I?) it’s not a healthy, normal state, it’s sickly, and what is sickly can be cured if the right healer is found. Depression can have a shitload of causes, it may be weird stuff like the bacteria inside our belly, an hormonal disorder, or it can be truly caused by our psyche, there’s no telling without consulting.
But, still, well, that’s my point, strong, constant depression, is so out of the standard it’s in the realm of the diseases, and diseases are to be healed.
C’mon, please, tell me you’ll think about it?
Remember when we used to watch TV and all they had on was reruns.
That’s how life feels these days, it’s not really a depressions so much as boredom.
I’m just spoiled because we had better hentai in the past. These days, I don’t know, seems like a lot of artists are going through the motions.
This post is an example, really lazy sex, and I’m sure there’s a story in there, but I’m simply too bored with the sex to see what it is.
Plus I have this endless backlog of mainstream manga and comics, so I didn’t feel like adding to my pile.
As for depression…had a bout of that a couple of years, back, been mainly engaging in mindfulness.
By my blahs aren’t physiological or genetic, but environmental. No amount of legal/illegal opiate will fix it. So I use endorphins instead.
Wow, I was really mislead! Jack-Pot’s characters are generally burned-out post-high school girls and milfs, while having ‘Necro’ in the title is NEVER a good sign in a hentai story! But the girls in the brothel were a breath of fresh air, compared to most Jack-Pot burnouts. The Necro bit is apparently referring to the building arc of the sub-stories, thank Cthulu.
I was quite surprised that there was so much story and character development but so little sex! I’m developing a deep and enduring hatred for the Lara-Croft-wannabe but she does have her surprising good points. In the real world, not everyone is going to be sweetness and light, you know? But instead of jamming in another sex scene, we got a writing lesson. Funny!
