Colour me pleasantly surprised, even though this is a manga about MILFs cheating on their husband (save the 2 final unrelated chapters, everything before is a single storyline), Hitozuma Koi Hanabi belongs to this rare breed of mangas that don’t take the easy way and deal with intelligence with the topic of adultery.
Yes, the husband is unavailable and lost interest in his wife, yes a younger boy and a female colleague show interest, but no, that doesn’t give a magical “zero consequences, zero worries” passport for easy frolicking.
In the end, we reach a highly satisfactory conclusion, that’s all I’ve got to say 
If we add to this mostly pleasant drawings (okay, I was no fan of the way bellies are drawn, but one can hardly blame a mangaka for taking the realistic route), there’s love, there’s intelligence, there’s originality, I’m glad I could read this manga, I hope you guys too will like it

Right. If you look at the prior pages, the women gradually cross their legs more and more and he moves on top of their legs. They may end up having to bend space-time, but I think that position is what the author had in mind.

Not sure I can agree about that ‘zero consequences’ part. Since the whole ‘consequences’ section was like half a page and everyone blamed Dad. Do you suppose either of them gave back any of things/funds beyond simple living that they received from his ‘workaholic’ nature? I expect not. And the family that wasn’t part of the divorce likely continued to hit ‘workaholic dad’ up for money whenever needed.

In a story-driven manga lengths of presentation lose in importance, what matters is facts, whether they’re here, or not.

Well, given the common trope in Hentai of guilt and then pleasure this one’s tough to judge. Within the tropes of the genre it’s hard to evaluate if the anguish is real or just part of the fetish.

I think it’s a little tough to argue that after months of an ongoing affair her not getting a warning was somehow unfair to her.

I agree that the fact that they touched on any of this at all puts them in a rare area of Hentai, though examples like Hametorare did a significantly better job of it on both a story level and an artistic one. Which may be the thrust of it. Hametorare not only showed the facts but presented the emotions and the pain. Hitozuma Koi Hanabi just sort of waved at them in passing. (en passant for Frenchmen and lovers of chess.)
Favorable improvements from the artist. There are some valuable (view)points in his works (including this one) that always pull my interest.
Ugh that cover, even if content isn’t bad, it’s still give too much of shit baiting vibe, it would be nice if authors just ditch that.
