Gunjo Gunzo is a pretty good hentai tank, combining quality mostly realistic art full of talent and sensibility, with original story types.
In terms of scenarii, you’ll have a few relatively long arcs (like, 3 chapters long), and a few chapter-long single stories. Some occasional moments are borderline wholesome, but most of the time the characters see their sense of self-worth challenged by personal issues until they accept that, to quote one of them, “life might be easier if I’m a bit broken“. Happy conclusions is the rule, but (1) oh boy is it a bumpy ride (there are even netorare vibes), and (2) it may depend on one’s definition of “happy”.
I suspect some of you will want to call it cringey once you’ve read the volume, but to me, that reminded me of the real world, we’re all imperfect, each with our own style…
I still definitely think the volume is worth a shot, see for yourselves

As of usual when ☑ the images are in high enough resolution and ☑ the archive is quite big for its number of pictures, and ☑ it offers a significant gain, and ☑ I have enough time to do it, if it may help, I’m offering you a smaller version, in which I resized the images to lower-standard 1600 px resolution.
The zip shrank from 435 MB to 108 MB.

Being closer to IRL is a plus in hentai, at least for me. Often this makes the stories bittersweet (as can be seen in this book here), but some realism in my hentai is always nice.

That was different, but I liked it. Had “Real Feel” to it, that I liked, with a variety of stories.
Oliver nails this when he quotes one of the characters saying that life will be easier if one is a bit broken. And many people go through life a bit broken at least at some point. With that in mind, this is a story about slightly broken people ending up in various situations but finding their own bit of happiness in the world. There’s some very sexy scenes in here, with some imperfect ladies, and some very hot ones, too, giving it the Real Feel I mentioned. All this does seem grounded in the Real, which, for me, just adds to the sexiness of it all. Recommended.

In trying this out, I note that my personal tastes in H-Stuff has shifted at least to the point that I now look for more realistic fare, than I used to.
