Okay, this one is a moral conundrum, as Oliver indicates.
3 childhood friends, 2 girls and a boy. They’ve always been together. Girl A has liked the guy for a long time, and goes to Girl B, telling her about it and asking for advice. Girl B? Immediately makes her move on Boy, confessing so that she and Boy become couple, stealing a march, and Boy, from Girl A.
This is an absolute shitty bitch betrayal move by Girl B.
But maybe because Girl B cut in before she was ready to, she’s not prepared to go the next step, even kissing.
Girl A then moves in FTW, offering BJs, paizuiri, oh, and if you can hold off till next Saturday, you can stick it in me…after which, my parents are out of town next Sunday, want to do it all day and night long?
Girl B (Rio), the betrayer, moves towards sex like a Hallmark movie, 2 hours just to get to a kiss.

So, when Girl A let’s Girl B know in no uncertain terms who has won, I feel NO sympathy for Girl B.
Girl B stabbed Girl A in the back. She got what she deserved. Yes, it’s a cruel ending, but it’s also justice. Girl B takes weeks to finally decide to come clean about stealing Boy from Girl A.
Now, when it comes to unrequited feelings in NTR situations, I usually look on it as there being no NTR; if you never had someone in the first place, how can it be stolen from you? Here, however, Girl A had her chance stolen, as well as the trust she placed in Girl B.
So, we end with the stealer being stolen from, and most of us like a story when a thief is stolen from. It also helps that Girl A is by far the cuter and sexier of the two girls, not a coincidence.

Oliver: as my rant below might indicate, the “fuck you bitch” moment is, IMHO very much fair game, because Rio betrayed Yoshino’s trust, stealing Yoshino’s chance to confess first. The FU moment comes literally weeks after Rio betrayed Yoshino; Rio didn’t even ‘fess up right away. So, yeah, fair game.
Depends on how far you may go to call it fair game.
Two betrayals were made, indeed, but one of them is (regrettably) very common in love triangles at that age, while the other goes beyond the usual standard.

Also, while the Boy, Yuu, isn’t a paragon of morality, betraying Rio, there is the question:
How would you feel if the girl who confessed to you had done what Rio did? Which kinda underscores Rio’s complete crushing by Yoshino. Rio knows she betrayed Yoshino, what’s she going to tell Yuu: “Gee come back to me! Yoshino came to me, trusted me, told me she loved you, asked me for advice, and I responded by immediately confessing to you?
