Just a FYI, you know Viva Freedom, don’t you, guys?
On a whim, this evening, I re-read Tuna Empire’s Viva Freedom, and it struck me, it’s a 12 old release now, and it is possible some people have missed on this piece of hentai comedy gold
So: should you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out Viva Freedom, this is an amazingly offensive and hilarious hentai manga, totally worth it in my eyes ^_______^
I fixed the dead links on the page, it’s now 100% functional, no excuses if you don’t know it yet. And, come on, a manga starring George W Bush, Osama Bin Ladin, Kim Jong Il, Junichiro Koizumi, Jesus, Saddham Hussein, and plenty more historical characters, it would be inexcusable to not give it a look, right?
A real blast from the past!
And sadly i think that something like this manga “would not fly” in the actual world. With increased censorship, violence and harassment in social media, SJWs, Wokes, etc, there is almost zero chance to see an “updated” versión of this kind of manga.
Main character enters New York.
An airplane starts blasting the twin towers.
Not so long later, an orgy begins.
Yeah, it would become relatively hard nowadays, this kind of humour.
And yet… man, that was golden.
I view rights and privacy as a sort of invisible bubble around each of us. It seems people confuse the fact that they can rightfully be offended, with the fact that others may not be allowed to offend them. As if that invisible bubble around them had expanded a thousanfold and was now supposed to have the right to cover the bubble of everybody else. It sucks.
Too bad than in the last years he/she don’t try to make things like this, is stuck in NTR/MILF. FUETAKISHI syndrome (well, fortunally TUNA EMPIRE tha even change the nickname, don’ change the art style for worst).
It’s a trend. It will change to something else.
Well, at least, that’s why I’m staying while over half of the full volumes we see released nowadays are about NTR or mindbreak ¬_¬
I thought I would never say this. But they don’t make hentai like this anymore!
Well, OLIVER point this in a past commentary. Maybe this tankoubon don’t sell well in JAPAN.
