I had already noticed that there was something wrong, since the end of summer 22 the updates had been more sporadic than usual. I’m afraid there are more important matters in RL than site management.
At least we could be of help to him, if not with his offline life at least with the site…

Just for safety’s sake, might be worth getting hold of the gigatorrent(s) while they’re signposted here? That way if anything happens to the site, rebuilding might be easier.
Curating stuff like this is an enormous job, and Oliver’s done incredible work there. I guess I lean towards “community backups = safety first,” and know of cases where somebody got hospitalised and it was backups like this that helped them set up again.
I visit this site almost every day for the last ten years and it have a been a delight for me. I really hope Oliver is ok, maybe he is taking a long vacation or having some RL problems, we can only hope for the best.

I also like https://pururin.to/, its not curated but it has a good tag system and stable reader and they upload a whole batch every few days
Tsumino.com is pretty nice too. Not curated and it’s not getting updated all that often these days, but a nice back catalog and favorite system
I recomend Hitomi.la; you can download easy from many languages (obviously englicho) in chapters or tankoubon (recopilatory volume)
There’s a mixed bag at nhentai.net. Not curated but the site is updated daily.
95+% of what I see here can also be found on exhentai.org – but there’s a trick if you get a blank page:
1. go to e-hentai.org – note presence of ‘-‘ in place of ‘x’ (a lot of same stuff with ads to negotiate)
2. go to forums and establish account (id and pw)
3. wait approximately a day for cookies and servers to sync up (or whatever background processes occur)
4. you should now be able to get into exhentai.org
Without these gyrations, exhentai.org will present a blank page.

as someone said in one of the comments above, the domain name seems to be paid off until april 2024…but other than that we’re without any news since august…which is quite disconcerting, considering that he always communicated.
I truly hope he and his familly are doing alright, the site is gonna be 17 years old on the 17th of December so i hope we’ll at least hear from the man on the anniversary…otherwise i’ll start fearing for the worst.
Internet Archive appears to have quite a bit a lot of the history for the site. You can find all the comics themselves on dozens of others sites that have been mentioned here. The real treasure was Oliver’s curation and commentary. It looks like that will be preserved in a form at least.

Is there a possibility that those interested can buy the domain to maintain this site for at least a few more years? I have been coming to this site for more than 10 years but it is disconcerting to see that after so much time Oliver does not upload new content, I hope it is okay
Olivers absence here suggests a couple of possible reasons why. First is he may be suffering some sort of health issues. Second he might be involved in a domestic situation (divorce, separation, something else) and with children involved it might be in his families interests that he have no presence on what basically amounts to a perv website. Third, he may simply be done with all this. It’s possible. Frankly I don’t feel as though he owes me any explanation. I have only thanks to him for creating and managing such a great site. Like all of you I only hope that he is as well and happy as a person can be and that all is well in his world. Happy Holidays to all.
I’m still conserned for Oliver. If it was issue two or three I feel like he would have posted something on the site giving us a heads up. If it’s issue one I still think he would have told us unless is was something so severe that he is unable to. Also the fact that he has not posted anything on twitter since September 21 is troublesome. He’s also not answering email. I sometimes send him compleated tankoubon that I have had translated and he’s usually quick to respond. But I sent him one in late December and have heard nothing back from him. I’m afraid that whatever is preventing our shared friend from posting might be something serious.
I hope for best, but fear the worst….
