Rental Kanojo [English], by Jack-Pot

You see, you may read me bitching regularly about cheating and netorare, but that’s not against NTR itself that I whine, no, this is against the lazy story-writing not making good of this theme, I rant when the story’s full of holes and disappoints. It’s like there’s a rift between the mangakas who do NTR for money but don’t care and don’t even understand how it should work, and the mangakas who love it enough to pour talent into it.

This time, with Rental Kanojo, I won’t complain: the theme is officially netorare, the characters have clearly defined personalities, and the story “makes sense”, is consistent, is true to its purpose from beginning to end. It hurts to read it, but it hurts well and plenty (I reckon, it must sound weird, but that’s how I feel it).

The story: a boyfriend discovers his GF is a huge cheating slut, but he refuses to let her go because he’ll never score such a hot babe again, he comes to enjoy it, and their functional although twisted relationship continues, “enriched” by their mutual joys at cucking (the girl knows the boy suffers, enjoys it, enjoys her own guilt) and being cucked (the boy loves it). Hey, why not.
