Dat forehead.

Coppélia Brothel was splendid. Graphically, it was breathtaking, each panel was a work of art, with tons of work poured in every single detail. Not just the sex, the backgrounds, the clothes, the faces, the positions, the way eyes were drawn. I didn’t love everything (the choice of colours was unique, I didn’t quite fancy it personally), but I’ll reckon everything showed incredibly praiseworthy dedication and love. Hats totally off!! :shock:

In terms of story, too, that was nice. We start with an intriguing introduction in a potentially rich universe, and things take an intriguing turn, with an explanation and conclusion that were both surprising and moving. You shall not read a spoiler from me, sorry but not sorry ;)

Enough said. That was brilliant, unique, touching, and beautiful, check it out if you haven’t read it :)

Disambiguation time!
I used to share a work called “Kaen Boshi”, 22 pages long. This is one of the chapters in the present “Kaenboshi” manga, 188 pages long. Okay? ^^

So, here we are. With excellent art most of the time, focused on young horny MILFs, and stories in which those women with low self-esteem bow to “alpha” (god, I hate that word) males. Those stories either left me indifferent (“I can fap to this. Period.”) or cringy (“for fuck’s sake, netorare’d by unfulfilled fantasies you nurture for your mom, dude?!?”).

All in all, I’m glad I can share this one. The tanlines especially, on one of the women, were legendary, no less :twisted:

More dedication than delivery, plenty of talent wasted, but who am I to judge

While reading Parasiter Miki, I was reminded of an old manga era, at the time Ghost In The Shell flew off the shelves. A strongly different aesthetic, with violence, ridiculous outfits, badassery mixed up with lack of reason, and that even affected hentai: yes, there was to be sex, but also, it had to be encased in a story ripe with action and plot twists.

Not gonna lie, I still conclude the manga is shit (snuff, rape, mindbreak, keikakus, a parasitic futanari germ that brainwashes women while men fiddle their thumbs and plot yet more keikakus, sigh, it’s stereotypical as hell), but it’s a testament to a forever gone period of manga (seriously? Good riddance). And I can even find some good points: very little censorship, actually original art, and a commendable effort in terms of scenario that would have been less irritating if there had been sequels and it didn’t die off as it is, lol.

Yeah, that felt like a young Ishikei all over again. Which is promising!

This volume here is a collection of short stories. In most of them, a highschooler uses a magical hypnotism phone app to convince girls they love his dick, to make their breasts grow, to freeze time and play tricks on them (surprise, you’re double penetrated!), etcetera. The rest are unrelated single stories requiring the same amount of brain power, as in: none at all ^^;;

The art looked pretty nice (it reminded me of Ishikei’s early career), it was original, and the girls were on the thick side. I won’t pretend I will forever remember this volume, but it made for a decent read, and perhaps more for some of you guys :)
