Ah, allright, I'm still picking an hentai pic. I felt like picking a poetic picture at first, but what if that deterred you from reading it?

Allow me the biggest praise I can offer: that gave me Re-Take vibes.
Next, allow me write a wall of text

The events in Evangelion probably left a lot of us unsatisfied, frustrated. There could be plenty of reasons of course, but I’d be inclined to sort them into two categories:
(1) reactions to bad writing (come on, honestly: the scenario is a big mess of jumbled up falsely religious/scientific theories that don’t add up to anything coherent or even looking like they make sense),
(2) sympathy for the characters (wishing them well, better than the shit they were dealt), pushing us into those “what-ifs” imaginary fantasies in which we can’t help but envision alternative endings that selfishly cast aside the big picture and simply focus on the characters.

We can’t do much about point (1), it’s more the fan-fiction realm’s job, but as far as what-ifs come, this doujinshi is for you, guys.

Seriously, MAXIMUM PRAISE be to the scanlators, Red_Piotrus, PureEnergy, Enatcon, FapperJohn, from the E-H Cove, what they did is nothing short of heroic, 143 pages packed with the longest, most insane quantity of text I’ve seen in a decade. Hats off!! ‘Cause, yeah, it’s a bit hentai, and a huge lot conversational. If you only want to masturbate (nothing wrong with that), maybe you should skip this share and choose something else, to be blunt.

The doujinshi follows several characters, but mostly Asuka. She faces her inner voices, receives help from her own psyche and from Android 17 (yes, I just wrote that) to confront her mental and personal issues, and find a way to move forward in life. Similarly, Ritsuko, Rei, Shinji and Maya will go through experiences, perhaps real, perhaps fantasy, that allow them to heal their wounded souls.
I don’t know if I should call it salvation, or escape from reality, if this is blissful WAFF or desperate clinging to hope, honestly… But, damn, it felt GOOD to read that, to sympathize once again with those characters I loved.

Long story short, read it, unless you never watched Evangelion :D
BTW, by the same artist, I also share Ayanami Rei Hen.
