Aaaand here’s one that I was gonna forget about until the universe’s heat death, were it not for the message a kind twitter user sent me about it: Kochira Momoiro Company has had its 3rd and final volume out! ^__^
Across those 3 volumes, we watch two women running an odd jobs agency, while they, and the various people orbiting around them, all have sex on many an occasion, while helping out various (weird) people.

We have the Ozaki Akira fundamentals, the 24/7 smiles whatever happens or almost, the brains-free non-commital sex, the casual lewd touching and talking that is perfectly normal in this version of the hentai world, the full whiteout censorship. They are combined with this series’ own idiosyncrasies, such as the always unpredictable comedy and amusing characters (I loved that quote: “She looks so happy even her forehead is gleaming!“), and, alas, the rather poor image quality.

All in all, I personally liked it, more than the average Ozaki Akira volume: I don’t read them for the seggs anyway, it’s more like a +/- balance between the comedy bonus points and the creepy assault malus points :lol:
I won’t claim it’s an absolute masterpiece, see for yourselves :)

When I shared the full-colour version of Houkago Initiation, a few days ago, I knew not everybody was OK with full-colour art (there’s no avoiding the loss of fine details and the impression volumes were flattened, isn’t there?), and I grieved the absolutely horrible censorship destroyed everything.

Well, no more! Here is, my dear filthy pervs, the grayscale, tank version of the same manga ^_^

– Grayscale, as in: erm, well, the usual, right. Especially with a mangaka like Arai Kei who throws in the extra effort, the body volumes, the screentones, the fine visage details, that’s a lot more for the eye to enjoy than with coloured images.
– Tank version: the various chapters the volume is made of were originally published in magazines, and it’s those magazine versions that were scanlated from Japanese to English, which implies lesser image quality, smaller image resolution, and usually more censorship. Fortunately, a kind soul, an ehentaier called Throwaway1245725, ported the scanlations onto the official tank scans. TL;DR: you’ll have the best possible image quality, and less censorship! \o/

There’s still plenty of censorship, but, hey, it was worse before ;)

Do I really look someone who would deliberately pick an image with horrible censorship? DO I?

On the one hand… yep, it’s by a skilled mangaka, yep it’s a 206 pages long volume, yep plenty of people love full colour art (not a poor fan-made colourization, a genuine one as chosen by the artist), yep the girls look great.
Also, the art was original, I don’t think there are other mangakas like Arai Kei (you may know him as Kansai orange perhaps).

Even the story lines were worth it. Each story the manga is made of (the tank’s made of stories one or two chapters long, essentially) had a unique and original taste. There was light comedy, sometimes it was heavy on the drama side, sometimes casual adultery devolved into scary yandere, and there were more! You’re in for a few surprises.

All fair and good points. Yep.

But… FUCK ME THAT AMOUNT OF CENSORSHIP WAS HORRIBLE.
You know what, I prefer full lightsaber whiteout censorship, to gross blur mosaics, the type which we have here in the manga. I believe it will encourage readers into fast browsing and only stopping to enjoy the panels in which no genitalia are “visible”.

Will you like it despite the censorship, I cannot tell, huhu, your call!

Hahaoya Shikkaku combines exceedingly generous graphics with exceedingly facepalmesque materials.

I’ve gotten mixed feelings from reading this manga.

Objectively speaking, I can say the drawings are excellent: hardcore, hardly censored, with mostly vaginal but also a few DPs, women loving the dick they get… That part is more than okay.

But subjectively, regarding the stories depicted in the manga, we’re entering, shall we say, “divisive” territory. For some readers, it will be awesome, for some others, yours truly included, that was absolute facepalm material. You have women betrayed, their pride shattered, you have useless pathetic men, or pathetic smartly scheming men, you have plenty of netorare, I kept on sighing all along. And yet, one story finale gave me a smile, with the female main character concluding she’ll dump her husband’s ass if he ever screws up again ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌

A new Jeanne DA’ck volume has been scanlated. Despite the title, it’s not like a sequel to the first Bakunyuu Oyako Dakkudaku Teishoku. It’s more like keeping the same wild style of imagination.

I’m still no fan of the artist (not by a crazy long shot), but I’ll reckon this time the women aren’t always drawn in the same position while they have sex, and their bodies slightly differ from one another, while the stories (each chapter’s a new one) are wildly imaginative and, for most of them, not maximum facepalm material.
Which is to say, it’s doing okay for a Jeanne DA’ck manga, heh.

R-R-R-R-R-RRRRRRRAM IT IN HER!!

I’m kinda late in sharing that one. Real life’s too busy, complicated, time-sucking and soul-sucking, sorry ^^

Here’s a pretty great complete tank, made of one huge arc first (143 pages), followed by a few single chapters with unrelated stories.

That main arc was very good. We follow the main male character, a custodian in an apartment building.
He’s not a natural born poet (“if I recall, you love rubbing my cock against your teeth like a toothbrush!“), but… he’s got other redeeming qualities.
And, in itself something positively struck me. That male main character looks like the maximum scumbag in those kinds of mangas: bald, huge smile on his face, overweight, huge dick, generic face… And yet, despite all those odds stacked against him, he’s a decent guy, actually! He’s not at all evil, he’s diligent in his work, considerate of others, he simply happens to work around huge single sluts who need dick 24/7 ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌
It’s amusing, really, women will plain and simple offer up their pussies to him, and he’ll take the time to ask for a final confirmation :lol:

The follow-up chapters dabble with adultery and brains-free themes, but basically they’re about happy consequences-free sex. Okay, save one chapter with mild netori (but you’ll understand when you see it).

And, graphically, to me it’s a huge win. The censorship is bearable (semi-transparent rectangles), the women are meaty and visibly love everything happening to them, essentially vaginal sex with a bit of paizuri, I have no complaint :)
